Moving is not required within a 30 mile radius at a private. Maybe to play the very next year not sure. No matter what you would have to move to play at another public school.

I don't think that's right especially because the 30 miles is as a Crow flies and that's a lot farther then people think. I've known of families leaving one private to another that's well under the 30 mile radius that had to rent temporary apartments so they could play immediately. A player for MC this year transfered to MC from LA with a move and he had to sit 4 games even with the move. And the move was actually for a legit reason to the South Side from North because leaving LA to MC is an apples for apples move. I know the other private school has to sign off and if they don't it becomes a hassle.

It's quite something how LWE went from a mostly positive, rooting for them type of team for a large portion of the public (in neutral, general terms of having respect for a program)....to approaching public enemy #1. Fascinating!

I comended him for being honest and saying why he transferred to play with Williams, not any of that other BS we've heard in the past. I remember one player saying he transfered due to Covid concerns. You don't have argue with anyone about this, let it be, anyone upset is just bitter that the strong got stronger, as an MC fan I've worn those shoes. He moved, he did it by the current rules, nothing can be said. I don't like all the current rules but nothing I can do about it. My only disagreement with you was on the Private School transfer issue you had brought into it
Being recruited and actually living in the district are completely separate things. Just because he may currently live in the lwe district AFTER being recruited to play for the fb team is still illegal.
The odd part about all of this is the hill you are willing to die on that Coach Z doesn't recruit. 99% of this board doesn't care and realizes that's just the way it is in 2025. And has been for a while. You seem to now be switching your tune from he doesn't recruit to we have to prove that he does. Two years in a row 2 all state players transfer in and you are still in denial.

I personally don’t believe he is but even I can’t prove that he is not or he is. Many privates on here are convinced that he recruited these players. I have no proof from any of them so until I have someone come with actual proof it’s accusations. Just like privates have said over the years prove it. That’s all I am asking just like private posters.
I don't disagree with what you're saying, but going from LWE is as pure as the driven snow to you can't prove it is a big shift. Much like the privates, it's a form of submission. All the top programs, public or private do it and with the state of college football and NIL it's only going to get worse in the coming years.
The IHSA may not have the personnel to investigate every transfer or they may be turning a blind eye because they don't want to open that can of worms.
