After making pit stops at Butler and Notre Dame College of Ohio, which closed its doors in 2024, Austin Haygood is on the Roosevelt roster. The old lion may go out with a roar. Against Nazareth, he recovered a fumble, chased J.J. McCarthy around in his backfield, and told Tanner Koziol exactly what thought of him and his team. Partly because of him, one of the announcers said, "The speed of this Caravan defense, the scheme of this Caravan defense!"

Perhaps they believed they needed a coach with HC experience. This may wind up being a better long term career opportunity for Billy.
