Which high schools are doing any stadium renovations this summer?

Rochester. Going from grass to turf. Still in progress. Can see from the parking lot that the new scoreboard is much larger than the old one.
After cancelling all homes games last season to install turf, Thornwood and Thornridge finally got around to working on that a few weeks ago. Only 9 months late. Thornton started in Febraury and I am assuming is done by now.
Providence built a permanent visitor bleachers. Pretty big for an away section.

I'll ask Edgy's question of the new Rochester setup also... when is the added seating coming?

Not this summer, but I believe Pope Leo XIV Field at St. Rita will be returfed next year.

I have been watching it being built. Drive by it every morning on the way to work. It’s clearly not done yet. Hopefully before the season starts.
Supposedly there is some more coming in on the home sideline side. Haven’t seen any confirmation or work towards that as of yet.
Other improvements/upgrades include new entrance, track, and I believe a building to house away teams so they do t have to walk to/from the school.
All.... The only that really matter are the two behind the church down in the tailgate area. 🍺🍺 🤗 Ratsy
Does anybody have an info on the Oswegos and Waubonsie or Neuqua Valley as far as plans for field upgrades in the future...?
Nothing being done to the actual playing field but Bishop McNamara is putting up new bleachers, pressbox, locker room at Zinanni Stadium.
All.... Attended a SHG/Mac playoff game in Kankakee if I recall correctly 2005 and was lucky enough arriving early to talk with Coach Z. Lots of history at the old stadium. Upgrades look to be very nice. Ratsy

Forgot this one: St. Rita is getting a new scoreboard with video screening. Go to X and search "St. Rita Chicago" if you wish to see it.
I would assume it was pushed to the back burner since they had great facility across the street and have done a ton of major upgrades at the school over the last 10-15 years.
