Easily one of my favorite kids to talk to here is the latest.
Gonna roll this here tonight for free tomorrow;
Chicago (Ill.) Mount Carmel sophomore four star ranked athlete recruit Houston Griffith (6-foot-0, 185 pounds) is up to an impressive 13 scholarship offers so far this spring and expect more to follow sooner rather than later. Griffith fills us in on his summer plans and more here.
"I've been staying pretty busy between school and just getting ready for the season," Griffith said. "I've also been having fun this spring with Boom 7on7 and we have been on a serious roll."
Griffith, who will take part in the Rivals Camp on Sunday in Kansas City recapped his latest recruiting news.
"I have 13 offers and we've seen a lot of college coaches at our morning workouts. I know that so far Notre Dame has ben at school along with Ohio State, Arkansas, Michigan, Penn State, Illinois, Cal, Western Michigan, Central Michigan and UConn. It's been a lot of schools lately."
So what are Griffith's summer plans?
"I'm still trying to get through the school year along with team workouts and my 7on7 schedule for now. Schools want me to come and visit them this summer more than asking me to come camp with them. I'm not sure about any visits yet. I need to see my team summer camp schedule and then we'll figure things out."
Could we see any early college decision from Griffith?
"I really have no time frame or any favorites. I'm just not focused on that very much these days to be honest."
Houston Griffith has multiple scholarship offers.

Thoughts on Griffith's recruiting? Houston plays poker very well never seems to show his hand whatsoever. I'm guessing he and his Dad will get around a little this summer and make some visits. If I had to guess I would think more on the lines of say a ND or Michigan State these days for Griffith...nut that's strictly dart throwing on my part. My guess is he will have 40-50 offers before it's all said and done.
