H-F showing Week 2 open when they were supposed to play on the road vs. an Ohio team from Canton, I believe.

Relax the schedules are not fully listed all ESL games are still on as of right now. Edwardsville only has 7 games listed too.

Let's assume the out of state games dont happen (far ones like California or Texas). What teams out there have the same open weekend abmbd would be a great matchup? I see Edwardsville & St Rita week one game is open, two good running backs. Who wants to play ESTL....anyone? Anyone?

For the life of me, I can't understand why many of the Suburban Prairie teams decided to not play non-conference games and schedule games with teams they weren't scheduled to play from the other side of the division.

At least 6 teams decided to venture out of conference and play quality competition. Should at least give them some sort of comparison with other teams and conferences.

About the out of state games. I will believe it when I see it. Hard to believe with all that is happening that this will happen.

Wasn't Kenwood supposed to be the next legitimately competitive CPL school?

If the OOS games are not a go, H-F, E-ville and Rita would have Week 2 openings.

It would be fun to see more SPC teams take on DVC opponents. Geographically it would make sense and it would help out the DVC with their scheduling.

Both Oswego teams are playing DVC teams.
So we already have:
Oswego vs. Neuqua Valley
Oswego East vs. Waubonsie Valley
Then hypothetically we could see:
Minooka vs. Naperville Central
Plainfield North vs. Naperville North
Plainfield South vs. Metea Valley
West Aurora vs. DeKalb
Pretty good matchups. I would definitely give the DVC the edge, but the SPC could be competitive.

I think the SPC May take that this year. I’d give the edge to both Plainfield’s in those games. The OE/WV being the wildcat

Football is in the air. Saw a lot of guys out running today, big guys, getting ready for the season.

In the Central State 8, Chatham dominated last year with a loaded Senior class and reached the 6a semi-finals before falling to East St Louis. That will be hard to sustain this year, with only a few returning starters. They also face a horrible road schedule playing at SHG, Rochester, MacArthur, and Springfield.
