NV took opening kickoff and, with some help from NC penalties, drove down to the NC 25. On 4th down Mennecke slightly overthrew his target in the end zone. Good throw into a howling wind.

Defensive battle tonight. Mennecke had another opportunity with an open receiver but the wind just ate up the ball. Throwing is really difficult tonight.
Mennecke throws an INT and Nc turns it into 7. Tipped ball in the endzone and right into Jopes’ hands.
