I had a chance to see Montini OL/DL Michael Ross at the NIU Big Dawg camp on Saturday.
Ross worked out strictly at DT and was one of the better DT at the camp. Ross has very good size and strength and is also a pretty athletic kid for his size. Ross also took a ton of reps and was one of a handful of linemen who kept coming back for more which was also impressive. Ross also showed some good overall technique and used his hands well. Ross I feel should be getting a lot more looks playing DT and I feel has FCS level potential.
No question I feel Michael Ross is a bit underrated at this stage of his recruiting process.
