Andrew with an INT at the Griffins 30. 5 plays to a TD for the TBolts. Blocked PAT LWE 7 Andrew 6 end of 1st.
Andrew responds with a TD on two long passes PAT good. LWE 21 VJA 13. Good balanced attack from Andrew. 4:15 left before half.

Just wait until after the half. East defense adjustments are unbelievable. I will go out on a limb and say East dominates the 2nd half.

You really don’t understand just how good East is do you. The half time adjustments by East will break teams. The offense this year will break teams. Just saying. This team is the real deal.

It appears Andrew is better than most thought. East will bring it home but not with out a fight. Sounds like a good game. East defense isn’t what we have come to know from the past. Offense is terrific and will be the star of the team this year.
Very strange to do an onside kick to start the game. The coach must of thought he would catch East off guard. Really surprising.
Not really. Seen it plenty of times when a team is an obvious underdog. Especially if they have a kicker that can kick it out of the end zone for a touchback. Basically a chance to try and seize the momentum early on, especially if you think that you are going to be in for a long night on defense.
Seems like a sign of desperation especially at home. In any case it didn’t work and gave the other team a short field.

From what I have seen the QB spreads the ball around with all of his receivers including the TE’s and Running backs. The run game is excellent. Normally East is more traditional run to open up the pass but this year with Jonas Williams they pass more. Understandable with the 4-star QB. Don’t fall a sleep on the passing as East has an excellent running attack including the QB.
I have tried to find Stats but have not been able to find any. I plan on going to the game this Friday night against undefeated NC, should be a good game.
