Now that all the dust has settled, can anyone come up with a somewhat objective All-State team (with honorable mentions of course)?

1st unit
Kicker Conor Talty
LB Matt Kingsbury
DE Pat Farrell

2nd unit
OL Nick Strelczkk
LB Joe Kingsbury
DB Johnny Schmitt

HM
OL Charlie Armbruster
OL Collin Gerger

2024 player to watch "DJ" Stewart

From MC that I feel legitimately had a season worthy of being classified All State

QB Blainey Dowling- And should be Player of the Year as well

WR- Denny Furlong

OL- Asher Tomaszwski

DL- Bobby Medina

LB- Parker Startz- See the first BR game when he was out then watch the second game.

** Had Darrion Dupree not get injured he would have been a candidate. 18 TDs in 8.5 games and was out at halftime for a lot of those. Next year Darrion!

Rough draft:

RB Darrion Dupree Mount Carmel
RB Andre crews Simeon
WR Denny Furlong Mount Carmel
WR Frank Covey Prospect
WR Malik Elzy Simeon
TE Deakon Tonielli Oswego
OL Charles Jagusah Allenan
OL Chris Terek GBW
OL Miles Mcvay East St. Louis
OL TJ McMillan St. Frances
OL Anthony Birsa Joliet Catholic
K Conor Talty St. Rita

Down in the central part of the state, the News-Gazette out of Champaign does a good job with their list. Include big and small schools from all around the state.

DL- Bobby Medina
Besides the interception, Medina came up with a sack and forced fumble in the Loyola game, giving MC a lead that they would never relinquish.

Hi father played for the Caravan, so you know the kid is motivated.

He wore #45 against LA so he could play TE and help block Bahr and did amazing
