Terrific, terrific game out at PR and quite honestly despite some usual handful of turnovers and a few penalties...this was a game that felt more like a late regulars season game on several levels.

PR? Offensively came out of the gates sorta slow, and a big part of this was a very strong CG offense. Samson Evans at times looked downright human tonight and again the CG defense just seemed to know how to play Evans, the CG defense never seemed to get out of position or find themselves in a bad situation against Evans. PR also had a strong performance from senior Iowa bound OL/DL Jeff Jenkins on both sides ofd the ball. PR's offense woke up a bit towards the late 2nd and early 3rd quarter and looked more like the PR offense we all expected to see....

The Wolves defense. Fast....easily one of the faster unit's I might see for most of the season....the entire defnese ran well from sideline to sideline and really was able to limit tjhe CG option game.

The CG offense? Has a nice mix of running game (BIG offensive line) with FB Max Skol, some nice wings and QB Quinn Priester has a capable arm and skills with the run or the pass.

Without getting to in depth here (that will come early next week) this was easily two great 6A teams....both of who will win a ton of games in 2017.

Very , very impressive on both sides.
