Seeing more ane more high schools being more aggressive in attracting college cvoaches into schools this spring....and also colleges are allowed to be in a specific school just ONCE now per NCAA recruiting rule changes. Not sure if the other schools passed on this, were not asked to be a part of this or what the story is.....I'm sure East St Louis will have no issues drawing in coaches but others?

With as advanced as recruiting is these days between unofficial and official visits to schools and coach's making home visits what is the biggest benefit to college coaches visiting high schools? Is it just being able to meet with multiple kids they may be interested in one place or is there more to it than that?

Maybe based on who you have in the building in a particular year dictates participation. Althoff has two 4*s and a 3* mext year.

Building a relationship with the HS Head Coach. His voice is #1 to the college coaches.

This is great for both the college coach and HS coach. Rather than needing to find time for 50 college coaches to come by the school…this allows them to knock out a bunch in one night.

Illinois isn’t known for having recruiting nights like this but they are very common in Florida, TX and California.
