Seeding is based strictly on record and playoff points, so yes, they deserve their seeding. But they are still are a big underdog. The only decent team they played this year was ICCP, and they gave up 42 points to them. In regards to strength of team, I would say ICCP is similar to PC.

I wouldn't say the system is F'd up, it's been this way in Illinois forever and while we discuss it every year I think it's about as fair as you can get. As USD said it doesn't take SOS into account. Imagine the arguments that would go on here if teams were seeded like they are in every other sport where the coaches get together and have a meeting to rank teams in a regional.

Welcome to the IHSA. But it's not f'ed up. It's the only non-biased way to do it when not everyone plays everyone else. It all comes out in the wash anyway. Just don't get excited when you draw a high seed, the only guarantee it gives you is a week 1 home game.

Okay.... since Provi didn't work out ... how about ARGO over Hersey! Nine fumbles in the game and Argo jumps on 8 of them. Argo scores with less than a minute left, goes for two and punches it in. Argonauts 15 Huskies 14. The lights go out, all the fans go home and all the Hersey players are still laying on the ground in disbelief Saturday morning.
