They don't need 5 p5 guys. They only need 11 solid guys to get the ball back to their offense. They've done it twice already 🏆

1. I see it must have been a tough 8 weeks for some of with esl not losing until tonight. You finally get to take your shots at esl now that they dropped an ot game to the #6 team in the country.
2. Nice strawman there. My point was that img is the best def esl will play this year. There is no room for debate there. On top of that, cg def is not what gives esl problems. But im sure you know that and are just using this opportunity to get a few digs in

High praise from a program that has traveled the country facing the stiffest competition it can face week in and week out.
"That team came ready to play us," IMG Academy senior Ty Hawkins said. "They were just as athletic as us. They are good. They had a good game plan."

Loved the intro - Wilmo's Harleys and STLPD sirens! Had to be told to shake hands ... and we know those fireworks were permitted ....
This game had everything - Break-aways, brawls, D1 all over the field. Ritter has a 300-pound punter! LOADS of highlights and a 35-game streak ends. This was a neighborhood rock- fight and bottle rocket war wrapped up in one.

Secondly, bringing up CG def specifically doesnt make sense as CG def isnt what gives esl fits. Its the offense.
Both refs seemed pretty confident and were within a few feet of the play. I would trust it
IMG is a training academy and they should beat every regular high school they play. Very dumb to celebrate their success versus normal teams.

Damn man! Isn’t this post about ESL and IMG? The man said that CG is not IMG!!! As anyone willing to contest that statement??? For any rational person, the statement stands on its own. He’s also saying that to take 10 minutes to score (CG past years) on ESL vs ESL scoring in under 3 minutes says a lot. Congrats to Cary Grove for milking the clock and eeking a couple of wins against ESL in their past two meetings.
I will go on a limb and put money on this, if the football gods allow things to line up again with a title match of ESL and CG, ESL is gonna treat CG like their best friends Prairie Ridge of 2022!!
ESL better win 6A after taking down Loyola and playing up to the country’s best. 6A is child’s play.
