ESL classic is set

Their website and address searches aren't inspiring confidence either. Not as bad as SFA Academy, but not great either.

Do they not properly vet these teams before signing them up?

Yes they do. You do realized SFA had a team and played a complete season last year correct? They bailed on LWE when they transfer QB committed to Oregon. There was also a penalty for canceling. The classic has been in existence since 2010. Last year was the first time a team decided not show. There have been teams from Florida, Tennessee, Kansas, Louisiana, New Jersey etc that have participated over the years. I think the process has worked well.

I know very little about this team. But their record may not be indicative of if they are a quality football team. The first 3 games on the schedule were against top 5 teams in the state of MD. They played IMG week 4. Hun (who beat MC) week 6.
While you are correct, they lost to the first 6 teams on their schedule by a combined score of 295-12:oops:

They could be. The scores and the end-of-season forfeit is what worries me. Then they list two addresses on their own website, neither of which pop up as Mt. Zion Prep on Google Maps. In fact, one of the addresses pops up as a different school entirely. They have a link to the NCAA approval site in which they have a 3rd address listed. They also don't list any sort of staff/admin on their site. This is all it says when you click on the Academics tab on their website: "Additional Information Coming Soon".

I'm just saying they are sketchy, at best.
