Had to be it.I feel like esl could have won the game by 30 if they wanted to. Sunkett seemed uncharacteristically conservative with his play calls.
They threw the ball down field one time and got a 50yd completion. Everything else was quick outs and screens. Its not very often (if ever) you leave an esl game and say sunkett should have thrown the ball more.Had to be it.
The rain was heavy for only a few minutes of the 2nd qtr when esl had the ball. The offensive game plan seemed to be run heavy regardless of weather. It seemed to be raining pretty hard during the first half, which may have been why Sunkett kept the ball on the ground in the first half.
With a 13-0 halftime lead, and his running game already established why air it out?
Other than the 48-yard bomb from the end zone which set the stage for their third TD.
I don't know the count but i don't recall any on eville. Which is amazing considering the amount of pressure esl got in curryDoes anyone know the penalty count in this game? Seemed pretty clean for one team who was completely over matched in a rain storm.
Exactly zero for the gameI don't know the count but i don't recall any on eville. Which is amazing considering the amount of pressure esl got in curry
Didn't know the number but I knew it was close to double digit. The first half for eville oline was a struggle again, similar to the game vs BE.East St. Louis sacked Edwardsville quarterback Jake Curry nine times. It held the Tigers to just 21 yards on 20 plays in the first half while building up a 13-0 cushion. Jaion Jackson, Keandre McClendon and Bryce Harrison all recorded sacks.
