Looks like Waubonsie Valley is going to be 1-3! But, we all know how crazy things can be in HS football. If WV does not turn the ball over like they did last year in most of their four regular season losses (and what they did last week) it can be a game. We said this before, win the TO battle and you win the game. I like NC.

Glenbard North over Kentucky
Not a ratings guy, but MAXPREPS has GN 1,466 & McCracken 5,542. McCracken is 1-3 against Kentucky teams. Illinois football over Kentucky.

Neuqua Valley over WWS
WWS keeps finding ways to lose. WWS will shock somebody one of these weeks because they are capable of winning, they just have not done it yet.

Naperville North over LP
Really disappointed in LP last week. Some really questionable decisions led to loss. Defense played well though.

Paducah McCracken Ky high school (1900 students- 87% white, 11% AA) is a relatively new high school, built in 2013 to consolidate three closed smaller high schools in the area. They are 1-3 this year, with a few close losses. School is located on the southern Illinois border. They have 73 kids on the varsity and 39 on the JV team. Just varsity and JV. Last year they went 7-4, and were 10-3 in 2015. Although they are a bit "down" this year, I think they handle the GN Panthers in Kentucky. Really hard to pick a game like this.

Geez I am really crapping the bed with my picks this year. I had better step it up or I wont make the game picking playoffs!

MV at WN: I am going with WN - WN ground and pound will be too much for the MV D to handle even if they get back their D1 Olineman and he sees time on D:Line as well. I am taking WN 35-17.

NC at WV: I have a feeling and I know after Last weeks showing; folks might say Voodoo is getting high on his own magic supply - but I am taking WV 15-14 with WV putting a 2pt conversion in at the end of the game. Same score as in 2015 against the Rugamba led Redhawks in Dick Kerner stadium.

LP at NN: I think NN offense just a little too much for LP to handle. I am taking NN 44-31. On a side note - I heard that NN wants to install free JumboTrons for their stadium but the donor says it must be during week 8 (10/13-10/14) and the home game will need to move to Dick Kerner. I also spoke with the Equifax Hackers and they agreed to turn their talents to a more positive and productive use and hack into the sprinkler system at Waubonsie and set it for a 24 hour run with shutting off at 3:30pm 10/13. They only requested one Bitcoin, so I will have to grovel at the feet of HHS/BBCHS to obtain his to pay these darknet baddies and turn them from the darkside to the path of righteousness

NV at WWS: Will be closer than many think (assuming WWS doesn't turn the ball over or foot shooting). WWS is a decent team but I will still take NV 21-19

GBN at Kentucky: I will take GBN 21-10

Games went pretty much as predicted by most in terms of who won and loss but how those teams won probably wasn't anticipated. WV played probably their best game of the year but couldn't hold on at the end. Fun to watch the score updates on the FNL feed.

NN oddly played very sloppy on offense and was lucky to escape with a victory at home vs LP. LP's defense is very tough but lots of penalties, dropped passes and odd play calls in that game.

WWS hung tough with NV for a while but then things got out of control in the 2nd half.

GBN has momentum now with two wins in a row.

WN gave up two turnovers for TDs early and it looked early like the nightmare from 2016 but then the defense locked it down after that.

I see fairly likely scenarios where 6 teams can make the playoffs this year from the DVC. WV has 4 more realistic wins on their schedule. LP has three. If GBN can keep their mojo then possibly 7 teams could make the playoffs! That would be a crazy way to close out the DVC as we once knew it.

Hong Kong is totally fine!! He/she will be totally fine to get on the cube and any other site (you tube streaming, etc etc.). Love Hong Kong fantastic city and they will love it!! Only downside is it's massively expensive (but as a ex pat - should be ok on that front!)

It's southern China (crossing the border from Hong Kong into Southern China is when the massive restrictions and limitations pop up.

Lol. I will try and bottle some smog!! The water is too toxic and I will get the blue glove treatment from TSA on the way back if I'm carrying the water!! The bad air is worse in the north (Beijing and now some in Shanghai) and I am in the south this week (Dongguan. Shenzhen etc so the air won't kill you right away like it will up north!)
