👍Four team format would have been best for this year....
Oregon
OSU
Georgia
??
True but SMU got in instead of Bama. I like Bama against Tennessee if they played again. That’s was Tennessee superbowl. LolAND Tennessee already beat them this year
They also played Georgia. That game seems important.True but SMU got in instead of Bama. I like Bama against Tennessee if they played again. That’s was Tennessee superbowl. Lol
They look great tonight. Hahahaha
Yes 5 teams that are the best teams in the playoffs. Bama could and would play with any of them. Indiana, SMU Boise State, etcYou literally listed half the teams in the CFP...
Putting Bama in over SMU sets the president that the conference championship games don't matter and in the future you would get teams opting out of conference championship games for fear of missing out on the playoffs if they lose.True but SMU got in instead of Bama. I like Bama against Tennessee if they played again. That’s was Tennessee superbowl. Lol
They look great tonight. Hahahaha
I don’t dispute that. I said that when they lost. Then I see who got in and see the blowouts and say something is wrong. I would have rather seen South Carolina in.They also played Georgia. That game seems important.
Bama lost to Vandy and Oklahoma. You get what you get.
So Tennessee beat Bama, then how do you think Bama would be doing against OSU tonight?True but SMU got in instead of Bama. I like Bama against Tennessee if they played again. That’s was Tennessee superbowl. Lol
They look great tonight. Hahahaha
Georgia's schedule is incomparable to anyone in the countryYes 5 teams that are the best teams in the playoffs. Bama could and would play with any of them. Indiana, SMU Boise State, etc
Not so much. Let’s see how Georgia does? Remember Alabama beat them. 🤷🏻♂️
True but if putting the best teams. They are not the best nor is Boise State, Arizona State. Just saying.Putting Bama in over SMU sets the president that the conference championship games don't matter and in the future you would get teams opting out of conference championship games for fear of missing out on the playoffs if they lose.
Don't sleep on Boise just yet. They gave Oregon all they could handle. Jeanty went for 200 yards and 3 TDs. Oregon needed 2 kick return TDs to beat them.True but if putting the best teams. They are not the best nor is Boise State, Arizona State. Just saying.
They would play OSU better than Tennessee did tonight. It’s about match ups. That’s said I root for both Alabama and OSU so that’s an internal battle for me. 😂So Tennessee beat Bama, then how do you think Bama would be doing against OSU tonight?
But Bama best them.Georgia's schedule is incomparable to anyone in the country
OSU has one of the best defenses in the country and Bama couldn't score a TD against a bad Oklahoma team, but you think they would give OSU a better game? They would play OSU better than Tennessee did tonight. It’s about match ups. That’s said I root for both Alabama and OSU so that’s an internal battle for me. 😂
And if they beat Oklahoma and vandy they would be in it, but they didn't. Don't know what is so difficult to understandBut Bama best them.
Win your games, make the playoffs. ZERO teams got screwed by that criteria
And the Georgia game was Bama's super bowlTrue but SMU got in instead of Bama. I like Bama against Tennessee if they played again. That’s was Tennessee superbowl. Lol
They look great tonight. Hahahaha
😂And the Georgia game was Bama's super bowl
NotAnd if they beat Oklahoma and vandy they would be in it, but they didn't. Don't know what is so difficult to understand
Yep, they played some tough teams and lost to 2 unranked, not very good teams. Win and you're in, don't leave it up to the committee.😂
Look at Bama schedule. Georgia was just another SEC game. But yes those two teams play like it’s a superbowl.
Was there during Mardi Gras years ago and at Pat O'Briens for the original Hurricane and it came with a bowl of gumbo. After 3 Hurricanes and 3 bowls of gumbo the next morning was the worst week of my life.Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl ... OMFG! I know of at least 50 guys from the local area going to that game. If I did not have a HUGE meeting on 1/2, I'd be half blind on Sazerac.
JUDGE IF YOU WANT: The best Sazerac and best Hurricane I have ever had were served to me at a gay bar named Cafe Lafitte in Exile. For my daughters' HS graduation trip, we had an AirBNB kitty-corner from it, north end of Bourbon. When the girls cashed in for the night, I'd go across the street and have a cocktail and one to go. Everything was hand-crafted: Sazerac made with a sugar cube soaked in bitters and fresh lemon juice on a cheesecloth to drip in slowly; and the Hurricane was made with fresh squeezed fruits at the bar - effing delicious!
Fast forward six years, Twin B is teaching in NOLA, I have her bring friends there, including young guys. I told her to make sure they stay long enough that the boys have to piss. The bathroom is like Wrigley with a trough but lit with a black light ... make your own conclusions.
Despite this, I enjoyed going there, especially since I could pee in my apartment across the street.
Sounds like you're a few years older than me. I was there in '04 and had enough hand grenades to make me a diabetic who needed a new liver.Three days after I graduated Althoff, I was in NOLA for a Tulane graduation and Patty O's wrecked me!
The best cure is a Port o' Call burger and baked potato.
NOLA is an amazing time and I'm in the process of pricing a trip for the Sugar Bowl, but sounds like your trip was more beneficial! Still cautious of the nerd twin "A" chose...BUT as long as he passed your test is all that mattersHand Grenades would be a creation of Tropical Isle ... sweet and TART! TIs are all over the Quarter now - seems like every block.
Yes, a few years older, I believe. I am class of 1991.
My last days of freedom were in NOLA Marti Gras 1998 .... I got back to Chicago Wednesday, and the Polish Chick tells me she is pregnant ... later learned with Twins ... TaDa .....

Seems like she's a good judge of character. He's gone!
Tennessee looked like Morgan Park. High hopes, low resultsIt’s kinda funny when you look at the rankings. #8 Playing #9 yet OSU is taking Tennessee to the wood shed.
I will stick with this along with having the 4 Round 1 games at neutral sites to hopefully further minimize early lopsided games. I was never a fan of the byes either. We will see what happens in the last 2 games today, but it looks like stopping at 8 qualifying teams could have been enough this year. Will revisit this post in a several hours?

I hear you Wassup but I like college football so the more games the merrier. I think they can do a better job of pairing so it’s more competitive. I know if they did teams would cry unfair.Right now I am thinking 3 being Oregon, OSU and Georgia and a play-in game to be the #4 team for the playoffs.
I am no longer for 8, 12 or 16 team playoffs. These games have been boring.

What was it like watching TN lose by 25 to OSU?Watching Indiana & SMU is like watching these 9-0 CPS teams get their arse handed to them in the state playoffs each year in round 1 by 4-5 or 5-4 teams
Alabama had 0 legitimate case to make it in the playoffs. Aside from the fact they are Alabama maybe.I have to agree. Nobody wanted to face Alabama in the playoff. Just saying.
And they were better than Clemson as well.No one wanted to play them in the playoffs. They didn’t have to worry because they got SMU! How did that go? Hahahaha Alabama Vs Penn State would have been a better game. That said losing to Vanderbilt and Oklahoma did them in. Still they were better than SMU and Indiana. Just saying
