This weeks schedule:

Batavia @ WWS
Wheaton North @ Glenbard North
St Charles East @ Geneva
St Charles North @ Lake Park

Batavia - Sounds goofy to say it, but they will "bounce back" from a narrow win.
WN - One of these teams will win in a 10-7 type of game. Hoping its WN
StcE
StcN

I’m going against my initial thought in an attempt to rise from the netherworld of last place.

The Fighting ClownBaby Boys
GBN
Chuck East

Batavia....want to go WWS, but last week scares me
GBN....home field is determining factor in a close one
STCE....long year for the Vikings
STCN....great win for LP last week

BAT wins a close one. Game of the week with two really good teams squaring off.
GBN - I’m a believer after a narrow loss to BAT
STCE - Vikings look lifeless
STCN - Updated based on injury report for LP.

Batavia @ WWS-Don’t the the SCN loss scare you. They’re better than they played. The only caveat here could be the weather Friday which looks like Rain which will favor the Bulldogs.
Wheaton North @ Glenbard North -WN gets a few guys back from injury, but GBN is better than they’re record. Panthers will win at home to stay in playoff contention vs. the smaller yet feisty falcons.
St Charles East @ Geneva -SCE is a playoff team. This wont be close...And Geneva...well, you know.
St Charles North @ Lake Park-LP lost their best player to injury. It’s gonna be a tough go the rest of the way.

Wait...stop the press...LP lost their best player? Who and what position? I may need to rethink my risk pick!

Batavia @ WWS: I want to go with WWS, but Batavia in a one score battle

Wheaton North @ Glenbard North: GBN is showing signs of life again, but WN needs this if they are going to make the playoffs

St Charles East @ Geneva: SCE doesn't have any stress winning this

St Charles North @ Lake Park: Lake Park will need a big win in the next 4 weeks to get to 5 wins. Unfortunately, it's not happening this week

Batavia - Bulldogs grind out wins against good teams year after year, thinkin this will be another..
Glenbard North - this game could absolutely go the other way, weather and home field advantage are my excuse..
St Charles East - will represent DuKane in 8A playoffs..
St Charles North - cake walk even if running back wasn't hurt..

Batavia @WWS
Batavia's experience winning close games gives them the edge.
WN @ GBN
GBN eeks it out despite WN getting healthier this week.
SCE @ Geneva
SCE
SCN @ Lake Park
SCN

Batavia @ WWS - WWS 27 -23
Wheaton North @ Glenbard North. GN 14-13
St Charles East @ Geneva. STCE 35-12
St Charles North @ Lake Park LP 21-20

A few upsets to get me back in the race. I think they can happen!!!

WWS
Glenbard North
Geneva
St Charles North

Time to grow a pair and make a move. A move right to the basement..... maybe.

WN 14-13
- No real reason here just feel like the Falcons have a better defense.

StE 24-17
- The Saint have a let down after last week but escape.

StN 17-10
- After a big win LP plays close again but doesn’t have enough

WWS 34-20
- Batavia struggles to stop the pass and this Tiger team is an upper echelon passing team in the state if they eliminate the 7 dropped passes they had last week. On defense the Tigers are going to throw some new looks at Batavia they didn’t see last year. The Tigers laying an egg last week was a blessing in disguise.

Tigers passing game may be hampered by the rain. Just saying.
