Again basically your low hanging fruit when it comes to the Class of 2019 here. More to follow shortly.

Class of 2019 Top Power Names by position:

QB

Payton Thorne Naperville Central- has added a handful of early offers so far this winter. Has a nice mix of arm strength smarts and is just a very polished player.

Ben Thorson Wheaton Academy- still growing and getting bigger/stronger. Has a tremendous arm and abilities

QB/RPO/ATH type

Alante Brown Simeon- will continue to draw offers and more looks as a WR/Slot and QB. Biggest Q for college coaches is Brown's overall size/height.

Kendall Abdur-Rahman Edwardsville- another speedy athlete who will keep drawing athlete type of offers this winter.

RB

Anthony Williams Jr. Bolingbrook- a prototypical big back who has a ton of upside for the college level. Still waiting on more Big Ten Power 5 offers...but they will be coming.

Jirehl Brock Quincy- already has multiple Big Ten offers and more. My only Q is has Brock played as strong of competition level so far and has he really been challenged?

OL

Trevor Keegan Crystal lake South-already loaded with a ton of very early offers. State's top ranked name here?

JJ Guedet Washington- has started to gain real traction this winter and that will continue once college programs find Washington HS this winter and spring.

On the Verge
Joachiem Price Carmel- has played football for one year. Is 6-foot-8, 310 pounds and his on the hoof looks alone will draw more offers.

Nick Broeker SHG- has been adding a steady stream of offers this winter but will need to show well this spring to hit the top level Power 5 offers/level in my opinion.

TE

Jahleel Billingsley Phillips- could wind up being the state's most sought after names in the 2019 class. Has the frame/size and tools to play someday on Sundays. Can very well end up playing on defense at the next level.

TE/DE Duke Olges New Trier- another late bloomer type from an offers standpoint. Big physical and athletic kid here with again a ton of upside down the road. I see him as more of a DE type.

On The Verge
Logan Lee Orion- Iowa commit. Big kid with a ton of upside.
Josiah Miamen Dunlap- another late riser who has a chance to add more offers from here on out.
David O'Keeffe Brother Rice- More of an HBack/FB type but a very good player overall.

WR

None as of yet

DL

DE Steven Hawthorne DeLaSalle- freaky quick twitch athlete here. Will need to add more weight and strength but the frame is more than capable. Has a ton of speed and quickness just needs a bit more muscle.

DE Jason Bargy Momence- Looks the part and is a Power 5 name off of eyeball alone. Has played very limited DE but again coming from a small school Bargy will need to make some big adjustments over the next year or two.

LB

On The Verge
Armoni Dixon Loyola- very good sized kid but does he have the overall speed/bend/quickness to play OLB at the high college level? Could very well wind up as a rush end.

Michael Jansey Jr. Batavia- very quick and fluid kid and a very polished linebacker here. Has mid level Big 10 potential I feel.

DB

Cameron Mitchell Bolingbrook- speedy, athletic, great ball skills and also has the grades.

Winston Russell H-F- has been on recruiting radar screens for a long time. Just a very high level athlete here.

Tyler Nubin St. Charles North- has also blown up this winter. Has added more weight and is taller than a season ago..and that's on top of playing basketball this winter. Is already at 6-foot-1, 180 some pounds this winter.

On The Verge
Devin Blakley Nazareth Academy- very talented multi-positional player here. Has ther tools and potential to become a high level cornerback in my opinion.

Joseph Thompson Phillips- speedy athlete. Has the tools/look of drawing more and more looks and eventual offers and also has the potential to become a Big Ten level kid.

ATH

On The Verge

Sebastian Castro Oak Lawn Richards- strong overall athlete but will schools want to see Castro play a bit more defense/safety on tape?

Justin Clark Oswego East- could easily become a big time breakout name later this winter and spring. Played QB last season so has very limited film on defense. Has all the physical tools and ability to become a Power 5 safety at the next level.

Jacardi Wright St. Theresa- in a very similar boat as Jason Bargy in my opinion. Has the physical tools and eyeball passing looks to play at say OLB/S at the high college level. But can he make the adjustment at the college level out of a small school?

Michael Love Nazareth Academy- again great player great athlete...but where will he play in college (slot?) and will his overall size be a big hangup?
