No. Since they went to the CCL/ESCC. merger, there are enough teams to cover the Prep Bowl playoffs and took away the invite to teams that exit the state playoffs in the second round. Teams that do not make it past the 1st round are eligible.

So the CCL/ESCC Prep Bowl representative will come from one of Marian Catholic, Niles Notre Dame, Marist or St. Rita.

You have to declare week 9 if you are in or out. The only two playoff teams who declared “in”this season were SR and Iggy. Seems only BR has taken a lot of unfair heat on this board for saying no. They obviously were not alone. If 10 teams said yes they would have started during week 10.
