Bailey glanced around the postgame press conference with all 17 of his seniors and eyed each one of them. They had all, at one time or another, been on the receiving end of that tough love. With a fourth state title to end their career and a win streak that extended well into their freshmen season, they were better off for it.
“Every one as I look at them here has been in my doghouse. I've been face to face with them and yelling at them and spitting on them all that stuff that goes along with taking a butt chewing. Their parents allow us to coach them in an old-school brutally honest way and don't interfere in it,” Bailey said.
