Geneva at home and healthy this yearCG @ Geneva
While the the victor will be the same as last I think Geneva will put up a bit more of a fight. Might not help but will play hard.
Great question. I think most of us want CG. But we have to get there first.Knowing ESL will be in the championship game, I’m curious which team their fans would rather face between CG and Geneva. I have to think Geneva.
For the rematch? If so I get that. I’m not saying CG is better than Geneva, I’m just figuring Geneva has a more predictable offense for ESL to stop. I don’t like making predictions for the team I support and let it play out.Great question. I think most of us want CG. But we have to get there first.
I still don’t think geneva will stop the triple option… . Geneva struggled a little with BC and Cary beat them pretty easy without their two best playersGeneva at home and healthy this year
Was thinking this today as well. However, their regular season results were even less impressive last year.A bit of a hot take but do we really know how good CG is this year? I know they have a ton of playoff experience and know how to win the big games but they haven’t faced any elite teams this year and pulled out a couple of close wins against good but not great teams. Playoff path has been very easy. Add that to the fact their best player is out for the year and I think this smells like a potential upset is brewing…
I mean what elite teams did they play last year also? Besides ESL? Coaches have those kids prepared. They beat ESL twice which is an elite program. Those kids believe in the coachesA bit of a hot take but do we really know how good CG is this year? CG is not good. Geneva can take off the week preparing. In fact, Geneva should start their second string.A bit of a hot take but do we really know how good CG is this year? He missed week 1 and has been out since week 5.I heard CG’s best player has been out all year
WilmingtonThey must have the longest winning streak active in the state, no?
Didn’t slow them down. Next man upHe missed week 1 and has been out since week 5.
It’ll come down to the weather. Yes, Geneva will have difficulties with the triple option but CG will have difficulties with Geneva’s passing game. Thing is, will Mother Nature allow the Vikings to throw the ball.I have a hot take, I know it’s a whole different season, but last year CG had 2 losses in the season and beat Geneva 41-7, how much better is Geneva from last year? Last years CG team wasn’t expected to make the finals, but this year they kinda expected to make a deep playoff run.
