As a Montini alum, I can’t see Byron enjoying the fireworks BEFORE the game was over.

Sounds like you were one of the clowns on Byron’s sideline screaming at the kids in pregame. I’ve never heard that kind of malice in a high school game. Certainly didn’t mind it when you were beating up on every team in the state 65-7 did you?

Princeton tigers will be right in this game like last year. Will be at Princeton as well. I’m sure the grass will be long and over watered.

Couldn't agree more. Pre snap penalties killed them. The last Byron drive before half you could tell they found something in the Montini defense. To me the game came down to penalties and that big Montini run in the 2nd half otherwise I think Byron wins this game. What a great game it was to witness live.
They found something at the end of the second quarter. Montini got that one stop on 4th and 1. Other than that Byron was moving the ball at will. Considine had a bunch of carries to the right side but couldn’t break the long one. Montini safeties made some big plays.
Man how did I forget the roughing the kicker! I believe he missed it regardless. Tough penalty in that spot, but absolutely the right call.
It was a fantastic game. Other than all the false starts, the actual football on the field was very well-played. Rooting for Montini, and was so nervous that Considine or #4 was going to break one eventually.
Tackling on both sides was great. 1st half took 36 minutes of real time. Great atmosphere with a drizzle starting during crunch time. To me, it lived up to all the hype.
Montini did flip the switch early on the fireworks at the end. I guess once they’re started, you just gotta wait for them to finish. I would’ve bet the house on Byron recovering the onside kick after that. Karma was tested, big time.

The music is absolutely dreadful. It’s like a fever dream being trapped in the tiny back seat of teal Dodge Stealth in the Holy Cross parking lot in 1992. How do they even find these techno and heart throb songs???
I don’t mind the quality of the music. I do think the frequency of the music is extremely annoying.

No the Byron Bullies’ outcry should be studied a bit more methinks. Shame they didn’t have a chance to win by a 50 point margin on teams that have thrown in a towel and claim it was “ just their backups”
I was standing right there in the end zone and my first words were wow that was close can't wait to replays. Absolutely the right call, along with he roughing the kicker call.
If you’re standing in that end zone how can you say “absolutely right call with the kicker call”. I’m just a football fan and nobody can make the call being there on either call. Both went to montini, go figure.
What I seen was kick get off, and kicker got hit right after. Just my opinion it was the right call. I don't like it when refs get involved in a great game like this, but there are rules to protect the kicker regardless off team.
