So in the Blue - you got LA vs MC - if LA wins they win the Blue outright - if not then perhaps a 3 way tie (if Rice gets by Iggy)
C'mon MC lets beat the Ramblers

In the Green - Naz can win outright with win vs St Francis -Otherwise a loss to SF and even Rita can be part of 3 way championship (if they beat IC)

In the White a Fenwick loss to Carmel opens door for either Montini or Laurence to tie

In Orange - JC can win outright and hurt Provy playoff chances with a W - otherwise itll be a co-champs with Marist and Provy

In Purple - all the marbles in the DePaul vs Benet game

In Red - Marimion beats Leo and the title is theirs

Since when did the big bad CCL become the rainbow brigade with 20 divisions? Sheesh.

Also in the Blue - If Ignatius beats Brother Rice they have a very good chance of making the playoffs as the 4-5 team with the most playoff points. Currently the most for any 2-5, 4-4 team.

Ignatius @ 48.
Kenwood @ 47.
Lane @ 47.
Carmel Catholic @ 46.
WWS @ 46.

Most likely to qualify as an at-large is WWS (4-4 currently), who matches-up with StC E (2-6).

All the rest at the top of that list are currently (3-5) and require a W in wk9.

Even if WWS loses, they should still qualify if there’s room for 4-5’s when all is said and done.

I hope that Ignatius makes the playoff

I think that they could surprise a lot of people

Iggy ain't going nowhere. Rice is better than its record of 5-3, whereas Iggy is as bad or worse than its 3-5 record. All three of Rice's losses were by seven points. Four of Iggy's losses were by 20. Iggy has a better SOS, but only because it took a drubbing in the Blue.

Only way Laurence wins is if the transfer portal opens from Indiana again

so there's a chance providence won't be playoff eligible if we lose the holy war? oh boy, i don't think i'll be able to handle that level of shame lol gonna have to get charlie celtic out there this week for inspiration during practice

PC needs a win or a lot more playoff points @ (4-5) to qualify. Target for most (4-5) teams will be around 49/50, minimum, to be safe.

Best case for PC, IMO, is 46 playoff points total if their opponents results tilt their way this Friday. A couple wild-card games could go either way.

How about "and even BR can be part of 3 way championship . . . . . LOL!

I'll be honest if MC decided to rest Elliott this week just to make sure he was 100% or close to it for the playoffs I wouldn't disagree with them. Win the Blue is fine and all but winning State is better....especially if the best we could do is a 3 way time....I don't think they would even get a T-shirt for that 😀. I have no idea how Elliott is, he threw the ball great the past 2 weeks but he hasn't ran like he normally does, not even close, so if a week on the shelf is help then so be it. If they lose MC be the highest ranked 6-3 team with the schedule they had to play this year.
