Andrew over the past handful of seasons has always seem to have at least one high level recruit and this year's edition is Andrew senior OL Jacob Palucki who is verbally committed to the Toledo Rockets. Looking for a sleeper name to watch for Andrew? The TBolts in 2025 have a very good senior class with some impressive kids..and I really liked the video from Andrew senior DE/OLB Troy Culberson who is an athletic and hard nosed player down in and down out.
EDGY's Preseason Thoughts on the 2025 Andrew Thunderbolts
Andrew and head coach Adan Lewandowski is coming off a 6-4 2024 season which saw the TBolts make the Class 8A state playoff field and lost in opening round action to York. The TBolts welcome back 10 returning starters for the 2025 season and will also lean on a very solid senior class plus some talented underclassmen who will be asked to fill in several key starting positions this summer. The schedule for Andrew is solid especially opening up with rival Sandburg in Week 1 yet it's also not overwhelming especially not having to face either Naperville Central or Lincoln Way East this season.
The biggest question facing Andrew this summer?
Can the TBolts reload at some key positions and continue to challenge for the conference title and a state playoff bid? Again a big key this summer for Andrew will be can the returning seniors step up and lead the way and fill in at several key positions (QB/RB/OL/DL) while also seeing some key underclassmen find themselves and contribute early on this season? Look for the TBolts to again play hard nosed and physical football in 2025 anbd to challenge for a state playoff spot.
