Impact Player for Glenbrook North?

Glenbrook North senior OL Cray Paich (6-foot-6, 300 pounds) is already verbally committed to Cincinnati this summer. Paich is a big, long and lanky athlete who is the next in a long line of impressive big men recruits coming from Glenbrook North over the years.

Looking for a sleeper name to watch this fall for Glenbrook North? Glenbrook North junior RB/DB Trey Gottschild (6-foot-0, 165 pounds) is a talented two way bstarter and impact performer for the Spartans this coming season.

EDGY's Preseason Thoughts on the 2024 Glenbrook North Spartans

Glenbrook North and head coach Matt Purdy is looking to improve upon the Spartans 2-7 record in 2023. Glenbrook North head coach Matt Purdy has posted a 15-27 record in 5 seasons as the Spartand head coach and Purdy was also a long time assistant coach under previous Glenbrook North HC and AD Bob Pieper.

The biggest question facing Glenbrook North this summer?

Can the Spartans become more competitive in the rugged Central Suburban South and find a way into the IHSA state playoffs this season? Glenbrook North did not have a good season in 2023, but the record can also be a little bit deceiving as the Spartans had a handful of games that could have been winnable (Grant/New Trier/Deerfield). With 14 returning starters back (8 offense 6 defense) look for the Spartans toi make a real run at a state playoff spot and potentially a winning record this fall.
