Impact Player for Naperville North:

Senior QB Aidan Gray (6-foot-4, 215 pounds) is one of the state's top signal callers thius coming season. Gray, who is already verbally committed to Northwestern is a big time athlete who has an impressive arm and tools. Gray is also a big, strong and physical runner who no question needs to be accounted for whether inside or outside of the pocket this fall. Gray has a very good chance of becoming an All State caliber quarterback this fall for the Huskies and is a huge key the the Huskies success this season.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Naperville North Huskies:

The Huskies (6-4) made the 2021 Class 8A state playoff field and also won the 2022 DuPage Valley conference title. The Huskies opened up the 8A state playoffs and lost to district rival Naperville Central to end the season. The Huskies will welcome back one of the state's top quarterbacks in senior Aidan Gray (Northwestern) and his main target again this season will be junior D1 WR Luke Williams along with having 3 starters back on the offensive line. The Huskies also bring back a nice core of returning starters on the defensive side of the football while the underclassmen talent is high and will more than likely continute as soon as this season for the Huskies. The biggest question for Naperville North is can they improve the defense from a season ago? The Naperville North defense allowed nearly 27 points per game in 2021, the second highest points allowed in the conference. I definitely see Naperville North hanging onto it's conference championship for dear life and look forward to a handful of very strong showdowns for the Huskies in DVC play this coming season. Naperville North I believe will be a state playoff caliber team in 2022 and a team that could be a hard matchup for all comers in Class 8A.
