Biggest Question facing Plainfield East this fall?
Can the Bengals get it done and win the SPC East conference title this fall? Plainfield East has had some talent over the past handful of years under head coach Brad Kunz, but the Bengals have yet to turn the corner with the program in the win/loss column. With an impressive roster which includes 11 starters back on defense this fall, this could be the best chance for East to make some noise this coming season.
Impact Player for Plainfield East: Junior OL/DL Michael Jimmar. Jimmar is a massive linemen who has already been drawing Power 5 looks and scholarship offers this summer. Jimmar will be asked to raise his game and his leadership abilities on and off the field this summer.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Plainfield East Bengals: Plainfield East has talent and a good, younger coaching staff on board trying to take this program back to a much higher level this fall. If the talent level can also be backed up with some additional numbers and depth, this could be a really nice sleeper team to watch this season.
