Biggest Question facing Oswego this fall?

Can the Panthers reload upfront on the offensive line? Oswego and head coach Brian Cooney has continued a long running tradition at Oswego of having a big, strong and very physical offensive line in his tenure. Oswego this past spring had a senior heavy line which featured a handful of high level college bound names. The good news is that Oswego has never been as strong in the offensive skills and the overall talent level is pretty high this fall. If the Panthers can settle on it's starting offensive linemen group and answer this important question, look out. This Oswego team will challenge all comers and could be a Top 25 caliber team in the preseason rankings.

Impact Player for Oswego:

Senior DB Cameron Grays will also most likely see quite a bit of playing time also on the offensive side of the football for the Panthers. Grays, who is also drawing increased recruiting attention this summer was used as a Swiss army knife type of player in the spring. Grays has impressive speed and strength and is also a big time player maker to watch this fall.

Game to Watch this Fall? Week 5 vs Minooka

Don't let either side fool you....Minooka's main rival is not Plainfield South or anyone else, and the same goes for Oswego. Oswego East is a nice game for the district and the town, yet Oswego gets up the most for Minooka and vice versa. The Minooka/Oswego game has been close, very physical and as hard hitting as any game you'll find in Class 8A. Expect another high level showdown this fall in Week 5.
