Impact Player for Vernon Hills: Senior TE/DE Justin Morris. Morris is one of a handful of two ways standouts for the Cougars. Morris was named as an all conference and all area performer for Vernon Hills in 2019 and Morris will be asked to again provide production and leadership in 2020.
EDGY's Quick Take on the Vernon Hills Cougars: Vernon Hills (5-4) made it to 5 wins in 2019 but fell short on state playoff points and missed the IHSA state playoff field. Vernon Hills and head coach Bill Bellecomo welcomes back a ton of returning starters and some pretty talented kids this fall. Look for the Cougars to challenge for the CSL North conference title along with having the potential to make a run in the post-season. VH will no doubt be a team to consider for preseason ranking purposes.
