2 classes --big school small school by geography.

All this nattering about private schools vs public schools is ridiculous.
The fact is the 6 counties in the Chicago metropolitan area make up the majority of the states population.
I don't know the exact proportion but I'm sure someone on this board has an idea.
Population disbursement goes a long way towards determining success.
More people to pick from = better chance for better team.
Oh I know there's plenty of other factors but population is a very big one.

I'd simply separate the Chicago area from the rest of the state .
2 classes ---Chicago area large school champion vs "Downstate" large school champ.
Ditto for small schools.

Playoffs along the way by geography to determine representatives.
I might even leave my easy chair to go see those games in person.

Perhaps but every once in a while I'd guess a "downstate" team would rise up and smite the Chicago goliaths.
Regardless each could claim dominance in their respective areas.

ANYTHING would be better than what's gone on thus far.
