    I think that night was the single most incredible performance i've seen of any high school athlete. The kid left the field 3 times.......at the end of each quarter. Sought him out at mid-field after the game. I just felt compelled to shake his hand and congratulate him.

    Best example i recall of that was in the 1992 playoffs. 220 lb LB Ben Henley got moved to the backfield to block for Matt Larsen. Led to a very memorable playoff run. Opponents feared the young, powerful Mr.Henley. As he continuously landed them on their hind parts........with emphasis.

    Yep. That's the game i recall as the coldest as well. 16 - 8 win with JCHS over Danville. I think the air temps were in single digits at the start of the 4A game and dropping.
