Question for CCL guys

s
Oh, he was talking about Benet? I thought he was talking about Illinois...my bad.

I wouldn't have thought that was true about Benet either but I wouldn't know.
Thanks for your insights into Benet Football. They were…….something.

But since you chose to fixate on the basketball part of my post, yes, Benet had a 102 game home winning streak from 1975 to 1987.

As well, the Illini broke Duke’s 95 game home winning streak in December, 1995. I vividly remember watching that game with a bunch of Dukies at Brother Jimmy’s on Sheffield. Kiwane Garris and Jerry Gee had monster games that night.

Will IOWA COMMIT Iose Get a 5th Star?

We all know that, for the most part, you have to play the recruiting website camp game to get those stars
It's not that he never went to a website camp....he basically never went to any camps whatsoever and was just never really seen in person minus game day and he was also shielded from the media pretty much constantly.

ESL season opener

Woods spoke about it publicly, so I bring it up, and he openly had anti-suicide messaging on his tape, but he was dealing with some things mentally.

I credit the hoops star, Terrance Hargrove, for making it OK to speak about such sensitive things as an athlete. SO many elite athletes base their entire being on being a stud that any detour is a complete mind ****.

ESL season opener

Just the state finals?
Id guess Tillman became the starter around week 7 or 8. Then started all the playoff games.
I thought it was more - was not certain by memory. Twitter tonight confirmed what Jhad said that it was game 7 onward. And even in Game 2 against Georgia, Tillman was getting the important carries over the two D1 guys.

I chose State finals as the term because that is the last game played.

P.S. I was in school during their 100+ game home basketball winning streak. Amazing accomplishment so not trying to be a d*ck.
[/QUOTE]

It would be an amazing accomplishment if it were anywhere close to being true. What in the world are you talking about?

The John Wooden UCLA teams never did that. Kentucky has the record (at 129 I think) and is the only school to ever get above 100.

I honestly have no idea what the school record is for Illinois but I'd be surprised if it was longer than 35 or so games.
