What exactly would you suggest? For anyone with a half a brain you can see that it's basically a sophmore team with a few varsity helpers. To run plays you have to have an O line that isn't getting their tails kicked on every single play. I don't care WHAT kind of offense you run. With no line play you will have no success. The bottom line is they didn't belong on the field with that team, and any thinking person who knows the situation knew that was going to happen down there. In case you weren't aware we were playing a senior dominated team with several future D 1 players on it with a bunch of young kids. If I had one gripe it would be to NOT schedule teams that you have absolutely no business being on the field with. On to week 2.
All... 45 to (zip) aganist a decent team like that into two year is an issue. Losing is one thing not being competitve is a whole different story,,, Fix it or change..... Ratsy
Glenbrook South came out and bulldozed York in the first quarter. York then had a 75yard td pass and took over from there. Penalty-laden. It’s early but Glenbrook South looks pretty good. Big OL—can run the ball. Hard to imagine York can maintain the Fitz era but who knows.
The Huns keyed on Jack Elliott, after discovering he could beat them himself. Danyil Taylor played well on offense, as did Q. Burrell. Next week, Rita will give us a tussle and we'll still be limping a bit. I expect a rugged season. This team may lose a few but will give everyone a game. Crusader_of_90 wouldn't have been such a good announcer if MC hadn't given him such a good game.
All.... For the love of God open up the offensive play book.. NO ONE (with this team) could possibly stay up with who they will face. And a good evening to all and a Merry Christmas. lol Ratsy
Agree it’s hard to imagine there’s much better. The beauty of the area is offset by having to park across the tracks where a 900 car up-west line train passes through every 2 minutes.
