Vic Aguilar tonight goes the distance for a 7 inning shutout only giving up 4 hits. Fremd starting pitcher had a nice game also, SR went small ball in first inning with two bunts to start the game and scored two runs in the top of the first. The game had a electric atmosphere from 1st to last pitch. SR left a lot of runners on base, Hats of to Fremd they left it all on the field.

Congratulations to St. Rita Senior SS Jalen Greerwho was just picked today in the MLB Draft No. 164 overall by the Oakland Athletics! He is a Missouri commit.

Oakland selects 3B Marty Bechina (St. Rita) out of Michigan State University with its 32nd round pick (974th overall) in the 2019 MLB First-Year Player Draft. Marty was one of the co-captians at Michigan State along with Danny Gleaves (St. Rita). Greer and Bechina will join Mark Payton of the Las Vegas Aviators AAA playing professional baseball.
