Brin: I am not sure why you posted this. Well, I know why you posted it. But people on the left and especially some, and I say some, in the black community do NOT want to hear this...even though it's the truth. They would rather shoot the messenger than listen to the message because listening to the message is much harder to do. People on the left would rather blame others instead of the policies and beliefs they hold for the problems we face. It's a lot easier to point the finger of blame than it is to take responsibility.
The problem with school and colleges is that far too much crap is being taught in the name of multiculturalism, liberal politics, beliefs and such instead of things that can give students something to go out into the real world with. They took shop classes out of school and replaced it with why America and Capitalism sucks.
These college "professors" like to spew their liberal views instead of just teaching the damned class. These "intellectuals" give lip service to teaching "critical thinking" then, the minute you stand up and disagree with them guess what happens to your grade in that class? I saw a video of a college biology class in which the instructor was ripping Trump and Capitalism. A biology class. My advice to the instructor would have been , just stick to teaching photosynthesis and osmosis, you little simp. College and the liberal instructors live in a world of theory, insulated from the real world. They are smug and think they are smarter than the rest of us. They are too ignorant to see how foolish they look.
The average person under 35 has no idea how to change a flat tire or turn a wrench, but they can sit around in their parents' basement and complain about rich people like Trump and the fact that they can't pay their student loans because they can't find a job. They learn that the degree they have in Multiculturalism, or something else just as useless is wasted. I would tell them to learn a trade or something else useful that you can actually use in life. Go out and get some practical experience instead of sitting around repeating some of the garbage you were taught in college. In other words, stop complaining and become a functional part of society.
But, you will never reach them...just as you said to me. They don't know what they don't know and they live in another world.
By the way, I happen to hold two degrees. The first thing I learned about both of them is that it didn't make me smarter than everyone else. The second thing I learned was, neither guarantees a job or success.
