Active Shooter at OSU

Thank you for providing evidence that actually links to documentation. That first link was garbage, and filled entirely with he said/she said - except the hilarious passage about a custodian entering a classroom to help make fun of a child. Totally believable.

As for the second link, I agree, that is bad. Sounds more like a WSU problem however, and not a nationwide problem.
Holy crap! A reasonable man! I will agree the first example wasn't a good one. But I can find more like the second one. No need to because you are intelligent enough to get it, unlike the parrot.

Guarantee he wont provide you with evidence. Just his own unsupported "opinion"

Hes against supporting opinions with actual information
The evidence has been provided and agreed upon. Check preceding post. Your opinion is horsesh*t like your brain.

You should be proud, this is a great accomplishment for you--providing evidence for things you say like the rest of the civilized world.

As already acknowledged the 1st link was laughable and highlights your stupidity. Next step for you is to attempt to think critically. This one is a little more tricky, especially for someone with your limited capability.

What dipshit doesn't know is Freeman's comments are part of a larger interview based on his philosophies portrayed on a show, he's heavily involved in, Through the Wormhole. There is a whole episode where he discusses if genetics and race are correlated to wealth...not surprising the answer is no. If people want to believe they are stuck in their circumstances and they can't get out, then fine rot in your pathetic existence, but as Freeman states "the bus runs every day."

I could give a shit what he believed 6 years ago, I care about what he believes now! People change, and I'm willing to move past that.
The parrot, reads one line in an article and thinks it represents the whole article too. The guy doesn't have any original thoughts so he has to go to google and look something up to support his view, then he parrots what he reads.

You do make sense about what a guy believes now but I am wary of it when it comes to core values. Obama changed his stance totally about gay marriage. Everyone knows he did that to bring in the gay vote. Same thing for Hillary. But they called it "evolution."
Obama and Hillary "evolved." How nice.

As far as the parrot goes, he is still pissed off since the election concluded and his head has exploded several times. Just like his old buddy. I am the guy going to sleep at night, happy and he and his buddy aren't. Sucks to be them.

If you want to know how "smart" the parrot is just ask him. Then sit back and watch him bloviate.

You are so full of yourself it is comical. You are so naive that you can't even see how dumb you look and how dumb you are. Another guy who thinks he owns the board. Bones you are a clown, and to make matters funnier, you are paying to be a clown. I have no problem with some paying to be here. But you are paying to be a clown. Priceless.

Yes, rah rah, your guy won.

You and Brin still have to be you and Brin so I still come out on top.

On top of what? And winning what? What exactly are you winning(in your mind) This is that big of a deal to you? What a sad life you lead. Is this "victory" you claim, leading to a book deal for you? Maybe a TV appearance? Get real.

Again, I have no problem with people paying to be here. It's a good thing. People are people and they can make their own minds up.

But in your case you are paying to be a clown. So, pay some more to be a clown....clown.

You are in denial here just like you are in denial about the election. Is it any wonder the symbol you vote for is a jackass?

Look, I win because I get to be me.

You and Brin lose because you remain being you. You embrace and rejoice in your own ignorance not unlike how a pig plays in mud.

Hahaha!! Funny how in another post you were talking about all the drawbacks of being you. And there are a ton of drawbacks. Talking in circles again.

I hope, for your sake, you didn't waste a whole morning making posts here while being on your employer's time. That's not good. You better stop because if you get canned you won't be able to pay to be a clown anymore. But, for now, pay some more to be a clown. I am entertained.

And remember, I am the guy going to sleep happy and you aren't. You are an angry little man whose head has exploded several times since November the 9th and you continue to flop around like a fish on a dry dock. You need to deal with those anger issues. Hahaha!

Please provide examples of students receiving a lower grade because they disagreed with their liberal college professor.

Tough to provide concrete evidence in "subjective" course work. Soc/Psch essays for example. a multitude of English Essays, some Marketing classes. All These classes contain projects/essays where there is significant subjectivity in the grading of the finished product. I remember I got a few C's on a paper and then figured out the marketing professor didn't like the degrading of women in Print and TV Ads of the day and so i wrote my final exam on how to maintain AD effectiveness while being a responsible AD Agency and removing the degrading sexual components of some ADs. Know what? I got an A and it brought by grade in the class up to a 3.5!! You be the judge. Maybe my final project was just so much better than my other work. Or maybe she liked the topic and my recommendation, or maybe a combo of both.

Math is different 2+2 = 4 and is objective. The only way a crazy liberal or crazy conservative could knock points off my correct math asswers is if he/she wanted to see the full work behind the answers for various Algebra/Calc questions.

Openly saying it though is another thing, or being hostile to ideas especially in subjective classes. I can understand giving that other person an F who tried to inject non-science into his science class.

Brin: I am not sure why you posted this. Well, I know why you posted it. But people on the left and especially some, and I say some, in the black community do NOT want to hear this...even though it's the truth. They would rather shoot the messenger than listen to the message because listening to the message is much harder to do. People on the left would rather blame others instead of the policies and beliefs they hold for the problems we face. It's a lot easier to point the finger of blame than it is to take responsibility.

The problem with school and colleges is that far too much crap is being taught in the name of multiculturalism, liberal politics, beliefs and such instead of things that can give students something to go out into the real world with. They took shop classes out of school and replaced it with why America and Capitalism sucks.

These college "professors" like to spew their liberal views instead of just teaching the damned class. These "intellectuals" give lip service to teaching "critical thinking" then, the minute you stand up and disagree with them guess what happens to your grade in that class? I saw a video of a college biology class in which the instructor was ripping Trump and Capitalism. A biology class. My advice to the instructor would have been , just stick to teaching photosynthesis and osmosis, you little simp. College and the liberal instructors live in a world of theory, insulated from the real world. They are smug and think they are smarter than the rest of us. They are too ignorant to see how foolish they look.

The average person under 35 has no idea how to change a flat tire or turn a wrench, but they can sit around in their parents' basement and complain about rich people like Trump and the fact that they can't pay their student loans because they can't find a job. They learn that the degree they have in Multiculturalism, or something else just as useless is wasted. I would tell them to learn a trade or something else useful that you can actually use in life. Go out and get some practical experience instead of sitting around repeating some of the garbage you were taught in college. In other words, stop complaining and become a functional part of society.

But, you will never reach them...just as you said to me. They don't know what they don't know and they live in another world.

By the way, I happen to hold two degrees. The first thing I learned about both of them is that it didn't make me smarter than everyone else. The second thing I learned was, neither guarantees a job or success.

Dr.
This post is brutally accurate. This generation has no clue what a wrench is or a screwdriver is. They act like they are entitled to a high paying job even though they lack the experience or the work ethic to succeed in the position. I have used this term.
They are the smartest idiots you will ever meet.

NNFan,

I didn't even realize he was a Fogo fan when I referenced the style of Brazilian steakhouse in my post. The meat is good here in the states but they are afraid to use Salt like they do in Brazil and you can't get the Brahma Bull Hump steak here either. The other thing the lack is nice meaty Palm Hearts(yes I know they have palm hearts but they're tiny here) and chilled Lobster tail on the salad bar!

Bones... happy thoughts. :) Just hours away from F.D.C. ... gonna be great! :):):)

This is admittedly anecdotal evidence, and there was not a threat to change a grade. Having said that, my son's freshman English professor at FSU provided the following reading and spent an entire class going over them - these were in a folder called "Trump". This was days after the election. There was no "Clinton" folder.

As my son noted, why is an English professor shoving her views down their throats? When students asked how this was relevant, she said the intent was to learn about political rhetoric.

Hi Gebronco. Not sure I have ever see you post. Not sure where you are going with this and I must apologize. I don't have much time to respond. I will after Christmas. OK?

Agreed Corey. I am sure if you have sons they know what the hell they are doing with tools. Mine do too. We will talk after Christmas because you have made a very interesting post.

In the meantime have a very Merry and safe Christmas my friend.

Sure, I pop in from time to time.

And yes I left it kind of hanging there - my thought is I'm guessing this is not the only professor out there sharing this kind of thing. If the goal is to expose my children to both sides of rhetoric from the election, have at it. But don't load them up with one side and then pretend it's teaching critical thinking.

If our students are exposed to only one line of thinking, and think it's safe to presume it starts a lot earlier than college, then hardly surprising they feel the need for "safe spaces", and fear "micro aggressions".

I long for the days when students were exposed to many different viewpoints and not just allowed but encouraged to then form their own views and opinions; not to mention the ability to hear views that are diametrically opposed and be able to have a rational argument.
