Week 2 finally came to an end - finally.

1 - That Mother Nature is unbeaten and will never be defeated!
2 - That your 7 on 7 stats matter most to your parents and your Facebook page. At least they should
3 - That New Trier wanted the neighborhood rivalry. Might want to find another neighbor.
4 - That Reeters needs a reboot.
5 - That Lz May not be overrated, Naz is that good.
6 - That Carmel is still a mess that will take much longer than one year to fix.
7 - That very quietly Stevenson looks like the Stevenson of old - except those helmets sheesh
8 - That we need an IC-Loyola matchup at some point.
9 - That the football classic at ESL needs to be replicated in the North Burbs.
10 - That LW East is now good at spotting good teams leads and coming back.

That’s all for this week.

re:#1 - Mother Nature Can be Your Friend too and allow you to see multiple games on the weekend - York on Friday and LWE on Saturday !!!

7 on 7 stats are meaningless if you run the double wing (how, in fact, do double wing teams do 7 on 7...run their one pass play every time?)

And Mother Nature makes the misfortunate with Illini tickets eat their extra tickets because all their friends are sticking around to watch their kids' postponed games from Friday night...

...and even if you don't and run a spread read offense, if your line is terrible those QB's and WRs who looked great in off-season will suddenly look awful while the QB is running for his life of planted firmly on his ass.

This is nothing new or unique. It's truly won or lost in the trenches, which you don't see in 7-on-7

Amen Father.

That sometimes inserting foot in mouth is better than holding ground on your argument, even if it’s a train wreck. Pun intended.
