Was able to get caught up via text last night with Jeff Jenkins. Jenkins was able to add two recent MAC offers and has seen his offer list grow to 5 this winter.
"I just picked up an offer tonight (Monday) from Bowling Green. I also added an offer from Toledo on Friday."
"I have offers now from BGSU, Toledo, NIU, CMU and Ball State."
"I'm going to go visit Toledo soon and I'm also looking to get out to Indiana for a visit this month."
So who else has remained in touch with Jenkins?
"Miami of Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Penn State, Western Michigan and Minnesota have all remained in touch."
Thoughts on Jenkins recruiting? Pretty much as according to plan. I look for Jenkins to secure more MAC and FCS level offers this winter while the Power 5 level schools will look hard at Jenkins. Jenkins will need to add more weight and bulk for the Power 5 level and that will be the hold up at least for now for Jenkins in adding more Big ten level offers. I have no doubt that Jenkins will end up as a Big Ten level offer type of kid....just might not happen early on is all.
