We understand and appreciate that this site is dedicated to high school football and that you automatically delete any threads that veer into politics. However, we are living in unprecedented times. The virus is paramount on our minds and there is no football to distract us. What's more, if we're honest, we have to admit that the virus is inseparable from politics. Maybe you could relax your usual restrictions and allow us to discuss any topic that arises. For many of us on this site, who are cooped up at home, the forum is a gathering place, like bars used to be, but with a specialized clientele. I can see deleting those threads that devolve into heated arguments, but maybe you could allow more respectful comments, even if they go off-topic, to continue until our favorite game resumes.

After 25 years of babysitting this forum (just let that sink in for a second....25 years) leeway walked out the door a long time ago. The closer we get to the election the closer we get to no more free board.
