The loss at home to Provi doesn’t help.I guess Massey is not giving the Loyola game much weight huh?
And that was a win on the road at Loyola.
If any of y’all want to give me SF and points I’d love to make a wager to each others favorite charity! Just wondering if Sycamore kids are dying their hair blonde this year? The loss at home to Provi doesn’t help.
I’d say Syc -3 IMO.
I posted a link on page 1.Is the game streaming somewhere?
Which Spartans? LolIf weather holds up, and SF can slow down the run, idk how you cover 100 yards by 53.5 with the 3 all-CCL WR's SF has on offense... not to mention a few other weapons they have.. lots of firepower. Will be a great game, Sycamore is legit. But speed kills... Catholic Spartans by 2 scores
I might be wrong, but I thought Syc had a couple kids on FB team from 4x100 state team from last year. I'm pretty sure I heard that.If weather holds up, and SF can slow down the run, idk how you cover 100 yards by 53.5 with the 3 all-CCL WR's SF has on offense... not to mention a few other weapons they have.. lots of firepower. If its on Chicago Public Schools Athletics Youtube page its legitOh you are WAY beyond my new skills now. I'm just posting what I find, and that link says "Upcoming: Sat 16 Nov, 4:00pm. At Morgan Park High Mustangs".
Whether it's true or not, I have no idea. O-O
Stop trying to sandbag like Tuccs!I might be wrong, but I thought Syc had a couple kids on FB team from 4x100 state team from last year. I'm pretty sure I heard that.
Game field may be switched to the cornfields.Should be a great game. Calpreps has St. Francis by 3 and Massey has Sycamore by 6.
Something tells me the groundskeeper took the week off and the grass may be a touch longer than normal.
I had talked myself into Sycamore being the favorite on that side of the bracket a week or two ago. Then in looking at results today, I am less than impressed. They had narrow one score wins over a 1-8 Dekalb, over a 4-5 Oswego East, and over a Mahomet team that eventually lost to SHG who got absolutely clobbered by JC last week.Sycamore is at home, but Franny is the favorite in this one.
Fair assessment, but how many conferences outside of the the CCL/ESCC have 3 quarterfinalists in one class outside of the I8? Naz will beat Rochelle but Rochelle will be the most physical team they've faced. Morris is down but made the quarters.I had talked myself into Sycamore being the favorite on that side of the bracket a week or two ago. Then in looking at results today, I am less than impressed. Looking at their results, they seem to have improved as the year has gone on some, but their schedule still seems light. A nice win against Rochelle and then clobbering an injured Morris team are decent wins, but there isn't much there to make me think they can run the gauntlet of three tough games in 5A now.
I know comparing scores, especially from early in the season, is a pointless exercise. But I think I have talked myself from them being one of the biggest title favorites into now thinking they may be able to pull out an upset this week, but if they do, that may be as far as I see them getting.
