St Francis Needs Game!

All.... 5A actually (with the multiplier tax) although they did land into 6A postseason play as one of the smaller teams in 2014. They did well that year in the playoffs and then came the Roadrunners. Ratsy

So how long before the Metro Suburban and ESCC/ CCL dissolve and a new conference is formed? I’m putting the over/ under at 2 years.

I don't think the Metro will dissolve as much as telling the private schools they need to leave.
West Suburban Bronze for the public's would be a better solution, but would 2 of the large enrollment/poor performing schools in the WSG slide over to play EP, RW, RB and WSTM? Or stay 7-7-4 rather than 6-6-6? If only Morton went back to 2 programs and Proviso Math had its own team for a 5 and 6th.

Great idea. 6-6-6 would work if you moved the 2 provisos but that could be setting them up for a discrimination lawsuit.

This is an interesting concept. However, the Gold and Silver already have 2 mandatory cross overs. I’d assume WSC leadership would go with 1 and 1 cross over per division, as opposed to a 2/1 crossover, which would make it a locked conference. However, for natural crossover rivals like DGN/DGS, HS/HC, PE/PW and York/Willowbrook, this would end up with many Gold teams never facing Silver teams.

Some what like the idea. But don't think Morton will split back to East and West.

All.... Not sure how accurate this is but the 8 to 8 schedule is showing them playing at home Friday (7:30 pm) against Thornridge. Can't find anything to back it up. The Ihsa schedule shows the Falcons playing Thornton Saturday. Ratsy

That is correct. Got finalized yesterday evening.

T Ridge isnt whining about some technical win that they didnt earn? Sounds like despite their record they understand the lessons learned on the field. We need to have the same energy for them that we had for Rochester. T Ridge is even more of an underdog and still stepped up.

Thornridge is 0-4 with two games lost to covid. They have Crete still to come. If they had four winnable games left they do not play this.
