Yeah…crazy game between LF and lville. Lville comes out looking unstoppable up 21-7 in the 1st quarter then LF gets a kickoff return for a TD and then a stop and all of the sudden it’s a game. Stop Libertyville on 5 consecutive drives and are moving the ball at will on offense.
turning point in the game was lville hit a bubble screen for like a 25 yd touchdown that would have made it 28-27 but it was called back because from my perspective it looked like one of the receivers just pancake blocked a DB but it was called roughness or something. Next play is a strip sack and all of the sudden it’s 34-21 after LF scores on offense. Miraculously lville still had the ball at the LF 20ish and a 4 and 2 with around 90 seconds left to tie the game but ball fell incomplete in the end zone. Incredible game…hats off to LF played very well and their QB is damn good. Lville needs to clean up the penalties they defn had 100+ just on offense alone which stalled out most of their drives
