I liked this interview a lot. Couple highlights:

Confirmed again they had no idea what JB was doing with noon press conference

Seems to like a football idea to have everyone play 6 games and then do a bracket style post season to allowed everyone another 3 games (losers play losers, winners vs winners)

Did say they debated giving spring sports a split season (fall and summer) for quite awhile

They are meeting tomorrow to go over more things....

Sam is a straight shooter and a good guy. I’ve always been under the assumption that the IHSA was going to do everything possible to have some as semblance of a season for all sports. But even with the latest info it seems they are willing to tweak so long as things are safe.
