Redhawk 7-0 Over HF 3:45 1q

Are they gettin homered in their own stadium? I’ve seen that before, but usually in Conference play only.

No skin in game here. Ton of respect for Naperville Central...really good team. Very questionable calls against HF that could really be 21 point swing. Sketchy. But I did see one terrible call again Naperville so....

Another disappointing season from a ex Sica.Congrats to Naperville Central. At least someone with kids from Bolingbrook beat HF ;)

Poor officiating all night. Most questionable calls went in HF's favor, but some important calls went NC's way as well. In NO way was HF "screwed" because of offiating. Multiple spots on 3D down and 4D all went HF's way. Phantom Personal Foul call against NC gave HF perfect scoring opportunity at end. Inexplicable play call though....

It was a great game..just like in '13..what has bolstered Central's offense in the past few weeks has been the running of AJ Dinehart who has been battling injury earlier...He had some nice runs throughout the game and that helps the passing game with Thorne throwing to Jayden Reed who just gets it done!

Thorne and Reed have been getting it done for the Redhawks their entire HS career at Naperville Central. ;)

It’s this NC team I saw play a nationally ranked team tight, right?

That are good - will be fun to follow.
Yes... and they will be better next year. Don't think they lost a game at the frosh and soph levels this year. Mike went to all the soph games, so he can tell you. They will be competing for titles the next few years.

Well...yes, the current Sophs ended up 8-0-1 as they tied Lake Park in week 9...you have Payton Thorne coming back at QB and OL Luke Hallstrom...but gone will be WRs Jayden Reed, and Tommy Coyne and RB AJ Dinehart, but current Jr RB Danny Hughes will be a really good back...Honestly they will need to replace a lot, but there is a good group coming up that have been solid since Freshman year and a good QB down the line named John Grogan...Due to the fragmenting of the DVC, Central will face Neuqua Valley and Naperville North twice (once as non-con in weeks 3 & 4, once as conference weeks 6-7) and add in Hinsdale Central, Lincoln-Way East, and Cary-Grove (week 9)...It's gonna be a big challenge...a DVC team will need to win 6 games or more to qualify due to the low number of teams..
