Having a terrific season so far for the Ramblers, here is the latest on Herion's recruiting news.

"We are definitely off to a good start. WE take on Fenwick this week and now that's become a really big game. They are having a big season."

"I'm just trying to do my job. I feel good about how I've been playing so far. My offensive line has been just ridiculous so far this season and I'm getting all kinds of time to throw. It makes my job easier when I'm surrounded with some many great players."

"I sent my first three games out to several schools last week at all levels. Kansas is one school that liked my tape and has been in touch recently. I'm also in touch with Wyoming, New Hampshire (FCS), Youngstown State (FCS) along with North Carolina and a bunch of smaller level schools."

Herion hasn't been able to get out to visit many schools this fall since the Ramblers play several games on Saturdays but did make it to Northwestern on Saturday night.

"I went to visit Northwestern on Saturday for the game against Duke along with a few teammates. Northwestern has remained in touch and they want to see my video and they also want to get a copy of my transcripts."

So what has changed in Herion's game this fall compared to seasons past?

"I'm reading defenses a lot better this year. I'm also being more aware of just making better decisions with the football and it just seems like the game is slowing down a bit for me now."

Thoughts on Tommy Herion recruiting? One of say 6-7 2017 QB's who are on several schools backup list...Herion has a pretty impressive overall game. he;s a bit thin but no question has high level skills and tools. I can definitely see Herion playing at the FCS level and I can also see Herion as a potential late addition to a BCS level school/preferred walk on type.
