Hawn has been visiting a ton of school since last fall and checks in with his latest recruiting news here.
"I was on spring break last week and I was able to get out to visit some schools."
"Last week I visited Western Michigan, Minnesota, NC State and Duke and they all of those visits went really well."
"I'm also planning to go visit NIU, Ball State, Miami of Ohio and Cincinnati soon. I'm also heading back to Illinois on April 9th for a visit."
Has Hawn started to narrow down his list of favorite schools?
"I haven't narrowed anything down yet but I should have a better idea after the spring evaluation period. We are expecting several college coaches to come into school and watch us workout."
Soi which schools have still been in touch and showing interest who haven't offered you yet?
"Schools who have been pretty interested who haven't offered me yet includes Minnesota and Duke. Vanderbilt, Penn State and Michigan State have all asked me to come visit them soon."
Does Hawn have any favorites?
"I have some favorites but I'm holding off on naming any for now. Once I'm ready to name some favorites I'll let you know."
Does Hawn have a time frame for making a decision?
"I'm graduating in December so I'll be able to enroll for college in the spring. I'll make a decision within the next few months and by the start of the season at the latest."
Thoughts? I just have a feeling Hawn could wind up at Illinois. He's made multiple visits already and seems to be very comfortable there. Again no inside info on this just a hunch for now.
