If you followed this one at all it was another up and down and just a flat out weird game in many regards.

Sandburg came out and played well in the first quarter here. Posted a 13-0 lead as the Eagles had a terrific game plan and worked it well. The Eagles had senior QB Alex Fidan throw several slants and timing routes, yet Fidan (who was very impressive here for Sandburg) was able to keep the HF secondary at bay by looking off several initial receivers and then hitting his secondary and third targets at times.

The Eagles then saw things shift once HF broke open with a 70 yard bomb and the Vikings momentum just took over here.

Sandburg despite the lopsided final showed some very good things and the Eagles could be a nice early round or two sleeper in 8A.

HF? Seemed a bit slow out of the gates yet once those gates open look out. The speed and offensive skills are all that they are cracked up to be. Defense? Definitely one of the fastest overall defenses going. The overall personnel and depth remains impressive and it will take a huge effort to beat this team and be able to defend this offense in particular for four quarters. Difficult? Very. Impossible? No.

Lots to talk about regarding HF in the Scouting Reports.
