Strange, strange game on several levels.
Hinsdale South? I felt the Hornets controlled this one from the opening kick till the beginning of the 4thb quarter, South just played well, hit hard and matched the speed and physicality of GBW which was no easy task.
Yet what I've seen happen multiple times over the years at GBW, the Hitter force a South fumble inside it's own 5 yard line, momentum shifts to GBW and the game was never the same.
South will be very good this year, especially in 6A. Lots to talk about with South in the Scouting Reports next week but overall a lot to like.
GB West? Brodner is a tank, it took West way too long to get untracked but once they did? Deadly.
