Cary, Wheaton North, Lockport, Maine South crowds were fire! Maine South tent was the best followed by Kankakee

ESL had minimal fans, 3-4 hour drive so I guess that was to be expected. I sat in the fenwick crowd for 5a, Twas a good time

I agree that I was surprised that two programs that historically travel real well seemed to have a lot of people opt for the tv option. In fairness, it was really cold and the tv option is hard to turn down if you don’t have a kid on the team.

that said, while SHG and JC brought fewer fans than I expected, I will say that I expected more fans in general for all 8 games. Even the games with big crowds were significantly smaller than the previous real good crowds at NIU.
